Enable Free SSL (HTTPS) on Your Site

Turn On Free SSL

Every TackHost plan includes free Let's Encrypt SSL. Once your domain points to us, HTTPS is issued automatically.

Steps

  1. Make sure your domain points to our servers - see How to Point Your Domain to TackHost.
  2. In your control panel, open SSL and confirm SSL is enabled with Force HTTPS turned on.
  3. Wait a few minutes for the certificate to issue, then visit https://yourdomain.com.

WordPress users

After enabling SSL, set your Site Address and WordPress Address to https:// under Settings, and use a plugin like Really Simple SSL to fix mixed-content warnings.

Certificates renew automatically - you never have to think about expiry.
